This is the ultimate chocolate cupcake recipe, like they are seriously so good no kidding. They are fluffy yet super moist and have a good chocolate flavour to them without being overly fudge-y. These cupcakes also keep beautifully, and believe it or not they actually taste even better the next day. I like to fill my chocolate cupcakes with Nutella or a homemade chocolate custard but they taste amazing eaten alone too. I've also made these into sea salt dark chocolate cupcakes by adding another 1 tsp sea salt, and banana chocolate cupcakes by adding a dollop of mashed banana into the centre of each cupcake batter before baking.
I'm eternally grateful thankful for Munira's sharing on her Facebook page Glazed. Her cake decoration work is also amazing, so for those interested do go check it out!
