I've been using this recipe for a few years now and it's absolutely foolproof, so I thought to share this too! I've used this recipe to make swiss rolls as well as layered cakes, it just works really well and so simple to adapt to create different flavours like thai milk tea rolls, matcha rolls, earl grey rolls and so on. She has her own blog too with so many great recipes that are all worth trying and perfecting!
